Why not surprise your family and/or friends with some great tasting gluten free breads and goodies!

I've been cooking gluten free since receiving a diagnosis of celiac disease over 10 years ago. My sister was tested and diagnosed shortly after I was and between the two of us, we have literally tested hundreds of recipes - most were great but some were truly awful! It was so nice to be able to share our results with each other as we navigated recipes with unfamiliar ingredients like xanthum gum and guar gum. And what a nice surprise when we found out we could have some foods that were already gluten free - like Worcestershire sauce! And which foods were NOT - like soy sauce. We were stunned to see the first ingredient listed as WHEAT!

February, 2012 - The Comfort Cafe is now Gluten Free! This non-profit restaurant is staffed by volunteers and is the only totally Gluten Free restaurant in the Denver area. Breakfast and lunch are served from Wednesday through Sunday 8-3. Please support our local community kitchens! http://www.thecomfortcafe.net

October, 2011 - TheDenver Water 2011 Harvest Festival was a huge success and a big 'thank you' to everyone who attended and for all their positive feedback. Samples of my gluten free pumpkin spice muffins, chocolate walnut cookies, espresso sugar cookies and snickerdoodles were available and as one someone said, 'sweet perfection!'.
